We've taken to the road yet again, this time hopping continents to visit family in Switzerland. It's been almost 4 years, but now that we're here it feels like almost no time has passed. In particular we're enjoying eating our weight in cheese. Mmmm. Next stop, Houston and lots of Tex-Mex!

Spring

Time seems to fly no matter what you're doing! Yes, we're in Perth now and loving it (except for the cold, but that's almost behind us.) I've finally gotten around to unpacking all my jewellery supplies and except for a few brochures coming up, it looks like I may be back in business.

In the meantime I've been wandering around my new neighborhood and taking some photos of all the gorgeous flowers. Who loves her new iPhone? I do! ~Elaine

On the move

Just a quick note to let you know we're moving to Perth in the next few weeks! Last weekend was the Stirling Street Art Centre market and I want to say a big thanks to my new customers! I'm so delighted to have met so many new people and found the crafts scene alive and well in Bunbury.

Fortunately I've had several new design projects land on my desk, so it's taking me a bit longer to add items to etsy. If you have a burning desire, something you remember from the market and just need to have, please contact me, otherwise I'll leave a post here as soon as I do begin the store stocking.

Happy Easter

My first market is over and I'm ready for the next one which is just next week at the Stirling Street Arts Centre on April 19th. Okay, perhaps I can use a few days rest, as it was quite a lot of work, but well worth the effort. Thanks to everyone who came out and to my new customers---I hope you enjoy your purchases as much as I enjoyed making the pieces. I am very grateful for your support! And to everyone who came here via the flyer, thanks for stopping by and checking out the site. I'll be updating my etsy shop soon with items from the market.

The photo at left is one of the hand-sawn sterling silver charms that I recently made. The next set of figures which are now in the design stage will have a circus theme. I'm so excited and can't wait to get to work on them as soon as a few print projects are completed.

Have a great holiday weekend everyone! ~Elaine

new & improved

We're making some changes around here, specifically adding my jewellery design to the site, cleaning up the galleries, and switching things around in the background. This will be an ongoing project for the next few months while I get the jewellery-making up and running. My first market is in a week and I'm so excited. If you're in Bunbury over the Easter weekend, stop by:

Made on the Left, Designer Art & Craft Market
Saturday, April 11th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
at the Highway Hotel on the corner of Forrest and Spencer

After that I'll be adding pieces to my shop at etsy slowly but surely. So far my work has quite a few beads involved, but I'm hoping to do a lot more silver pieces in the near future. ~Elaine
